Signalling for Sagunto-Teruel line

Estacion de Teruel

The European Union has recently included the Mediterranean-Cantabric corridor in the map of the trans-European network. This has in turn enhanced the investment plan actions in the area, in order to increase the competitiveness of this strategic railway axis.

Within this frame, Adif is upgrading the single-track, unelectrified line departing from the province of Valencia, which crosses Castellón to reach Zaragoza, the capital of Aragón.

Adif has awarded Enyse with the contract for the design and execution of the Signalling, Telecommunications and associated power systems of the Sagunto-Teruel section of the line, for an amount of 6.5 million eur.

Works is due to be completed in 18 months and will provide conventional signalling and automatic block thru the intervention in the stations of de Estivella-Albalat, Segorbe, Navajas, Jerica-Víver, Barracas, Puebla de Valverde and Teruel.
