Level Crossing Protection

Within the ENYSE business areas, one of the activities is the implementation of Level Crossing Protection systems, with over 800 level crossings installed at various railway administrations.

Level crossing protection systems, with a tried and tested, robust and easy to maintain design, are fail-safe and SIL-4 according to CENELEC standards, allowing a range of wired and radio-controlled configurations and solutions to be installed.

ENYSE manufactures, supplies and installs Level Crossing Protection systems type:

• SLA - Level Crossing Protection systems by light - acoustic signalling (in stretches of railroad tracks fully automated)
• SBA - Level Crossing Protection systems with Automatic Half-Barriers (near stations or in stretches of railroad tracks fully automated
• SBE - Level Crossing Protection systems with Interlocked Half-Barriers (commanded from the station)

All Level Crossings Protection Systems can be associated with the Pedestrian Protection System.
